Procrastination Station

I should be packing or spending time with my husband. Instead? Facebook and the blog. Don’t even worry, I so have my priorities in order.
So . . . um . . . I sort of was asked to re-publish one of my favorite posts on a really cool new blog project. It’s called Bloggers Annex and it’s a new blogging venue to encourage and publish great writing. I’m flattered and honored that it’s founder(s)(? not really sure who/what they are exactly . . . it’s kind of anonymous ) sought me out and asked me to join and publish. I’ve mentioned that my writing has been suffering lately and I’m hoping this will start my creative juices flowing again. So um . . . like . . . go check me out . . . like . . . if you wanna. Like. It really is my favorite piece and it is a very special story about a very special family. Sorry if some of you have already read it. For those of you who haven’t . . . I hope you enjoy. Anyone looking for a venue to publish their best stuff, join in the fun! It’s just a brand new baby blog, but I think the idea is a fabulous one.
I leave tonight for the Bay Area and I’m very excited to see my friends. I’m not particularly excited to spend three whole days next week in technical training, but I’m going to try to make the best of it. Apparently without any clothes since I STILL HAVEN’T STARTED PACKING.
Ok I’m packing now. I swear.

What a wonderful story you wrote. I can relate to it so much. I was that adopted child you wrote about. I was also that unwed mother. I did marry though….. but my son died 2 weeks before birth. Your story brought tears to my eyes but my heart swelled with love. Thank you for sharing it with us. (((HUGS)))

Congrats on the post being published! It’s one of my favorites of yours for sure. It made me cry all over again when I re-read it just now. Beautiful!
Have fun on your trip with your friends… and who needs clothes? You can either shop for all new stuff once you get there (you KNOW you were planning to anyway) or you can just go nude. I mean, it’s San Fran…

Actually, yeah, public nudity is ok in San Francisco as long as its not “lewd.” There’s a comical distinction there, but a distinction nonetheless. Visit the naked yoga guy. He’s very flexible. Teehee.
And, I typically hold these back but…I award you a gold star on your piece. You can put it with the other ones you’re getting.

I LOVED your post on the Annex! So glad you had a chance to resurrect that. It’s a wonderful story, and so well written.
Have a great trip. With or without clothes.
My fantasy vacation is to go someplace exciting with no luggage whatsoever and buy everything new when I get there.
Maybe you can do that!

Oh, wow. That was quite well written. And it was quite unfortunate that I read this now, as I am in class, and I had the tendency to shed a tear or two. I know that it’s not my story, but being adopted myself, stories like this make me a little emotional. Loved it.

Every one admits that our life seems to be expensive, nevertheless different people require money for various issues and not every person gets big sums money. Therefore to get good mortgage loans or commercial loan would be a right way out.
