I’m a little embarrassed when I realized how long it took me to decifer your post. But then I decided to read it like your text messages and it was WAY easier! Love you, hope your sight gets clearer soon!

Congratulations on getting your surgery! My mom was legally blind in both eyes without glasses or contacts, but about 10 years ago she got laser surgery (when it was still really pretty new–infancy you’d probably call it now–and expensive), and she said it was the best decision she’s ever made. And opening her eyes for the first time and being able to see was the second-best feeling in the world (she said the absolute best feeling having kids).
