Verbal Vomit v8.4
April 1st, 2008 by Kateastrophe
Since today is April Fool’s Day, I was SO TEMPTED to tell everyone I was pregnant. You have no idea. But then I realized that might be cruel. My mother would probably pass out from excitement and then kill me when I told her it was a joke. I think the same reaction would come from several parties, actually. (Hi Sheila, Hannah, Janna, Julia and Rhonda!) I decided it wasn’t a good idea for me to die today. Besides, my sister already did that a few years ago. She’s the QUEEN of April Fool’s Day jokes. I should take lessons from her. Anyone got any good April Fool’s Day jokes to share? I love hearing the clever things that people come up with!!
So, um, in other news, I have failed to understand Wordpress and the pictures from my two previous posts are still not fixded. If you’re DYING to see them, I’ve set up a test site of sorts for pictures on Blogger and they are there, just not in any particular order. There are even some extras that weren’t in the original post for Hannah. Someday I will figure this out Brillig will tell me how to do it then I will be the master of the universe.
Or not.
My legs hurt from going to the gym last night. It was lower body day and due to my cheater pants relationship with chocolate and homemade orange rolls over the last few days, I pushed hard. Now I’m regretting it. In my sleep I was regretting it. Working out is a bad idea. Bad, bad. I don’t recommend it. Unless you want to lose a full clothing size in four weeks. ‘Cause I did that. It hurt, but I did it. Strangely enough, though, I’ve only lost two pounds. Does somebody want to explain THAT logic to me? (blah blah blah muscle weighs more than fat, blah blah blah.) To celebrate I had a homemade buttermilk roll for breakfast. Not on the diet. I am stupid.
And now that I have verbally vomited all over you guys (you’re very welcome.) I am signing off. K-Murph out.

Ask Rhonda about her cruel ‘april fools’ joke she played on me. Wait…was it even april fools when she did it??? hmm…

Whoa, that was some serious vomitous. I don’t so much celebrate April Fool’s, I don’t like to feel stupid, you see. I was tempted to tell you that I couldn’t come out this weekend, but how mean would that be? I am excited to go to the gym this weekend - but you realize that we’ll be eating like crazy…so maybe it will just cancel itself out? Speaking of word vomit, I’m pretty sure this comment could be classified as such. Ahem.

Well, considering that I am so clever and have tried the April Fool’s pregnancy gag like 8 times (see, I should learn that it doesn’t work after the first 5 times) . . . I don’t think I would have fallen for it. I do remember when your sister pulled it off though, that was awesome.
Love you!

i definitely toyed with the idea of telling people i was engaged, but then i decided i’ve already pulled that joke once, no need to jinx myself, haha.

ha! i thought about pulling the same prank, but decided it would pull on the heartstrings too much. so if you give the other person a heart attack, i guess it’s not a funny joke. too bad.
obviously, i haven’t got any good pranks to tell you about. hopefully someone else will.

haha! I thought about doing the whole pregnancy joke too. I think I actually should have done it. It would have been funny.

Oooh! I so should have done the pregnancy thing. That would have been so funny! Especially since Nature Boy is “fixed.”
I suck at April Fools jokes, so I have nothing. The fact that you even remembered is way better than I did this year.
